Idaho Pasture Pigs
Idaho Pasture Pigs are a breed developed by Gary and Shelly Farris. This breed is good natured, grazes pasture without destroying it, produces good mothers, and the meat is outstanding!
About our Idaho Pasture Pigs
Our pigs are rotationally grazed in our 3 acre pasture. Along with grazing, they are fed locally sourced, non-gmo, corn and soy-free feed. Add to that a generous portion of minerals, diatomaceous earth and apple cider vinegar. Our feeder pigs are never vaccinated and we use the garlic protocol for quarterly deworming.
Our pigs are available seasonally, with limited quantities available. 2026 we will have feeders available for you to raise yourself, or we can raise them for you!
How it works:
$250 non-refundable deposit due upon order. This deposit is included in final price and will be deducted from total.
$7.00/lb, hanging weight*, whole pig, includes kill fee and cut fee.
$7.50/lb, hanging weight*, half pig, includes kill fee and cut fee.
Our pigs are taken to a USDA processing plant where they are butchered and cut on site.
This fee will be due once the butcher gives us the official hanging weight. We then send you info on how to contact the butcher to choose the cuts of pork you want.
*hanging weight refers to the weight of the pig after butcher, evisceration, and head removed.
You go pick up your pork when the butcher completes your order.
Pork order deliveries are on a case by case basis.
